We are an authorized distributor of Bajaj spare parts. Our materials are delivered to our doorstep from the transport, and the transport mathadi delivers goods to our doorstep. Other mathadi toli demands that the material from the truck to our doorstep should be given to them, and you should pay money to them. Whereas as of now, it is door delivery. So, please tell us what to do? Is it compulsory to have a mathadi worker for material from the truck to our doorstep, or can the transport person do the work? Please guide us.

So why should we give you extra money for unloading when it is free of charge from the transport and the small tempo which goes for delivery? Please read the Mathadi Act and check if your organization and nature of the job fall into that category. The fact is that Mathadi Unions are making misuse of the Act by pushing their Toli members into any company. They will provide you with a letter from their union with a cc to the local police station. These are their gimmicks. You don't have to entertain them and should act diplomatically without getting tense under their pressure. Avoid saying no directly to them. Instead, you can explain that our transport workers are already Mathadi workers and are competent to do the jobs, hence we cannot allow other Mathadi members. You have to politely and indirectly decline their request.
