Dear Sir,

Yes, it is in the Motor Transport Service. It has more than 250 large, medium, and small-size buses of its own. It also provides cab services for employees for pick-up and drop-off facility from home to the workplace and vice versa. The business operates solely in Pune and covers larger zones of Pune.

Please suggest the leave policy.

Please refer to sections 19, 20, and 27 of the Motor Transport Workers Act, 1961 for information on weekly rest, compensatory rest, and annual leave with wages respectively. Every adult Motor Transport Worker (MTW) who has completed 240 days of service in a year is entitled to annual leave with wages in the succeeding year at a rate of 1 day for every 20 days of work performed. Unavailed leave can be carried forward, up to a maximum of 30 days. In the event of termination of employment, the salary should be paid for any accrued leave. Additionally, workers are entitled to National and Festival holidays as per any applicable laws.

It is important to promptly apply for registration of the establishment under Section 3 of the Act with the Chief Inspector of Motor Transport Undertakings in your State.
