I have attended interview on 22nd Feb at cognizant technology solution. I have cleared all interview rounds and HR was told that I will get offer letter on next week but I made One mistake while filling the form that was given to fill befor HR round, my current salary is 3.76 lac and I have mentioned 4 lac. Does it affect in future background verification if so How would I solve?. (Still I didn't get offer letter, I haven't submitted any documents for background verification.)

I have seen normally candidates round off the salary amount, in your case you mentioned 4 instead of 3.76.
You can inform HR of Cognizant about the mistake you did, it will work as reminder also about your offer letter.
I am sure before giving offer letter, company like Cognizant will definitely ask for documents specially salary slips and appointment letter, just to cross verify the records.
So nothing to worry about.

Background Verification are usually done once a company floats the offer letter.
So dont worry about it
Incase you do get an offer,You would be asked to fill the the details again in a Background Verification consent form, There pls ensure you put all the details correctly
