One of the primary roles of HR is to create a harassment-free workplace and implement the POSH Act. By doing a POSH certification course, you will gain an upper hand over your peers as the course will make you a subject matter expert on POSH laws. After the implementation of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition & Redressal) Act, 2013, among other things, it is mandatory for companies having 10 or more employees to constitute an Internal Complaints Committee and conduct training and awareness sessions for employees on POSH laws.
