Do we need to issue appointment letter in local language? if yes, is there any law available?

Normally, any employee who cannot understand the English language, it is always better to issue the appointment order in the local language to avoid any allegations on a later date that "I could not understand the meaning of a particular clause of the order."

Yes, any appointment letter to be issued as per the Factories Act, Shops and Commercial Establishment Act, Contract Labour Act, and Standing Orders Act. It varies from trainee, probation, and permanent.
