I joined an IT company with a bond of 2 years as a fresher. I left the company after 2 days of joining as the location was difficult for me to stay. I requested the company to relocate me to different location but they said it is not possible to relocate. I got call from main branch that to work in Mumbai for 2 years or quit the job. I decided to quit the job. Both manager and HR agreed for me to quit the job.
Then i got mail from company to submit a proper resignation letter to manager. So I sent a resignation letter to manager and HR. After a few days, I got a mail from company that due to my absence from work, I will be treated as a case of “voluntary abandonment of work” and I should pay due and salary for the notice period to the company.
I didn’t get any training not even ID, laptop or bank account. They do not even have my documents. All they had is the bond I signed on a Rs. 200 note.
My family cannot pay the due amount of 1.3 L for company. I don’t understand what to do. Please do help me with the issue.

Hi,
You have joined as a Fresher and left the company after 2 days of work. It would have been prudent on your part to check with your HR about your location of work before joining, before signing the bond (training agreement).
As your association with the company was only for 2 days, I don't think they will go for legal action as they cannot justify absence as a loss to the company. In normal course HR cannot keep a employee file open - undecided. Hence to close the file it is customary to send letter. You may reply to the letter saying that due to location constraints you are not able continue and high light that your stint with the company is only 2 days...
