I am a production officer in a chemical company, and I am resigning from my position within the bond period, which is 18 months. I have completed 12 months of it and have given one month's notice of resignation. They currently hold my cheque of 30,000/-.

So, I want to ask all of you what legal actions they can take against me.

It is not possible to answer the question without knowing what the bond actually says and what the terms are. Further, there is a question of why the bond was taken and whether it is for some amount the company spent on training, etc.

Furthermore, there are other factors that need to be known. You need to give all details when you ask a question on the forum, or you will get a wrong answer.
