Hi Senior's, In our company one of the employee is taken for long leave for his illness (6 Years Exp). Now management has informed to get the replacement for him.
Right now we have to inform that employee to complete the resignation formalities. (We should insist him to finish his relieving formalities considering his long-term employment). Can any one please share the letter format.

Hi,
If employee is willing to resume back to duty, give him the opportunity first.
If the employee is really not in a position to continue due to physical illness call him and explain how his absence for longer period is having impact on his job role. Encourage him to submit resignation for proper relieving. Assure him that you will consider him for re-employment once he is recovered of his illness Settle his full and final settlement including Gratuity and notice pay.
