Rather than collecting information from employees about their roles, as an HR professional, you should already have access to their job descriptions based on their grade and designations. Therefore, it would be more effective to prepare Key Result Areas (KRAs) based on their roles and responsibilities according to their positions and grades, and document them. Subsequently, please issue these KRAs individually and obtain their consent.

Actually, I joined 3 months ago, and the previous HR did not create KRAs. Each employee was assigned different job responsibilities, so the management has requested me to collect this information from them. The KRAs will need to be approved by the HOD.
I am unable to create KRAs for 200 employees as I need their work profiles to proceed with their increments.

In what capacity do you work in your company? What is your designation? If you are from HR, then be it known that the preparation of Job Descriptions (JD) is your job. Please sit with each and every individual and understand what they do. Write it down. Scores of formats of JDs are available on this forum. Choose one amongst them.
Secondly, the preparation of Key Result Areas (KRAs) of the subordinates is the job of each Head of Department (HOD). However, as an HR professional, you may check whether it meets the SMART principle or not.
Lastly, there is nothing wrong *per se* in asking for help with sending an email. However, it would be proper if you prepare the draft and upload it here. Asking for a ready-made draft is nothing but spoon-feeding. How long do you wish to continue that practice?

Mr. Dinesh Divekar, I want to clear all the mess within a limited period of time, so I cannot sit with individuals to define their KRAs. My employee strength is 600, including sites. I am aware that it is the responsibility of HR, but if it were already on track, I would have done it myself, as we normally do it during the hiring process and for promotions. Unfortunately, none of them have been set, and as it is already May, I cannot delay their increments.
