Hi all,

I have received a scheme certificate from the EPFO office upon the submission of the filled Form 10C. Please let me know how I will benefit upon reaching the age of 58, or how my family will benefit in the event of my death. What is the amount I will receive in a lump sum or monthly if I am alive, or what amount my family members will receive?

If anyone knows, please guide me.

Hi,

The amount depends on your period of service, whether it is 10 years or more. You can choose to receive your pension either upon attaining the age of 58 or opt for a reduced pension at the age of 50 years. Pension disbursement will typically be on a monthly basis, and in the event of the member's demise, the nominee will receive the pension.

Thank you.

Hi,

Yes, it is very clear. You have not shared your current age. If you join any organization that comes under the purview of the PF Act, you need to surrender the scheme certificate to the concerned PF Office through HR to continue pension contributions in the same PF number.

Hi, I hope you will work for another 19 years. You need to wait for 58 years for full pension or 50 years but reduced pension if apply earlier.
