Hi,

One of our ex-employees worked with us for 4 months in 2014 and left the organization without notice. After follow-up, he said he was unwell and unable to rejoin us, and then he never communicated back.

Now, in 2019, he messaged us to provide him with a work experience letter for the 4 months he served with us because his current employer is requesting the same. However, this is an absconding case. What needs to be done here, as he is reaching out to us after 4 years and didn't serve the notice period or resign properly?

Additionally, he is making legal threats over the phone.

Please advise on how to proceed in this situation. Thank you.

Dear,

If you have not initiated any legal action against him so far, please issue the experience certificate to avoid any legal consequences. As per the given information, he has worked more than 90 days with your organization.

Thanks,

What if he serverd less than 90 days?
