We have two factory buildings with different names but located adjacently. The owner is the same, and the flow of the process is the same. Is there any way to register both factories under one license as one entity? Please provide your views based on relevant clauses and notifications, if any.

Dear Friend,

It is better to contact the Director of Factories in your state or discuss with the Factory Inspector of the area where your units are located to get the details. For your information, to have a single license you have to make the following changes:

a) Factory layout
b) Bring both factories within one boundary
c) Fix one name for both units
d) You have to appoint one person as a manager for both units, but the occupier would remain the same.
e) You have to notify such changes on a large scale to all... and many more things.

Please ensure that you make the necessary adjustments as per the requirements mentioned above.

Best regards,
