I was working for a small firm, Bhatia Tools. When I joined, they took my original certificates. After starting, I discovered that the company was not employee-oriented, the culture was very bad, and the salary was too low to survive in Bangalore. Therefore, I decided to quit.

After 6 months of employment, I sent a resignation email stating the notice period, but they did not respond to my resignation. I continued to follow up for resignation acceptance, but they did not provide any response. After 2 months of notice, I left the company. Unfortunately, they did not return my original certificates.

It has been almost 3 years since I left the job, and I still have not been able to retrieve my certificates. I am unsure of what to do next. Can anybody offer any assistance?

Legal notice. Have you receipt for depositing originals? 3 years is too long. If nothing else works file a police case

Why have you been silent about their actions for three years? Don't you value your certificate? You should take action within 3 months. File a police case regarding mismanagement, embezzlement, and the three-year-long issue of struggling to find a job, along with other grievances. Also, consider sending a legal notice to address the situation.

You must not ask for any help from anybody here and there and need to file a police complaint against them. But still, I would suggest you speak to them once for releasing your certificates before taking such action.
