1- Here, I want your suggestion on ESIC wrong IP entries. We have updated ESIC IP details in the ESIC portal in which the Date of Joining (DOJ) was wrongly mentioned. Please suggest how we can remove this.
2- Can we add new IP details once the monthly contribution has been filed, but the payment for the respective month is pending? Please suggest as soon as possible.

Dear Chandan,
You can generate a new challan instead of the old one if the amount has not been paid yet. Instead of the old IP, you can create a new IP. For the old IP, make an exit on the same day as the date of joining.
If you want to correct the old IP without changing the challan, the person must visit the local office with the appropriate proofs. Please ensure to include a covering letter to change the date of joining in the IP.

I have a similar question and need your guidance. We registered a new IP on 03 Mar 2019 with DOJ as 01 Feb 2019. Since the entry is incorrect, we wish to delete it entirely. How can we go about this? Additionally, we made the same error on the UAN Portal for PF and need to rectify that as well.
