Actually, I have created a new employee profile (IP) and recorded his contributions for 6 months. However, he now informs me that he already has an identification (ID) from his previous employer, and one of my co-workers has created a new profile with his previous ID. Consequently, there are now two profiles for the same employee. Can you kindly assist with advice on how to proceed?

ask the employee to visit the local office with both, ESIC will merge both IP numbers and his old IP number will get visible in employer’s portal, including the payment made in new IP number
If the employee goes to get a smart card, biometric formalities are completed, and if a duplicate is found on the spot, the earlier one is validated, and the later one is always merged. The ESIC Local Office, as the Regional Office, is authorized to handle this process. Please ensure you have your latest TIC duly attested by the employer, with a family photo also attested by the employer, along with the TIC for obtaining the smart card. Please find the ESIC IP contribution transfer form.
