All employment-related laws/acts will apply to any establishment, whether commercial or industrial. Since start-up establishments need to consolidate from day one of their coming into existence, please begin with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition & Redressal) Act 2013 and the rules gazetted thereunder on 9.12.2013. These will ensure that everyone on board in the premises works towards creating wealth and well-being of the wealth creators, contributing their 100% and nothing less, thereby choosing to be productive and enabling the new start-up to flourish (as no time or effort should be wasted troubling others around).

The presiding officer of the Internal Committee in your establishment/start-up, constituted under Section-4 of the said Act of 2013, has to file the mandatory annual return for the calendar year 2018 (1.1.2018 to 31.12.2018) under Section-21, with a copy to the employer/head of the institution/establishment, who is law-bound to incorporate the contents of her annual return in the annual report of the companies to be filed before the ROC.

Furthermore, as per the recent amendment in the Companies (Accounts) Rules 2014, the board of directors of your company has to furnish a written declaration before the ROC that the Internal Committee under Section-4 has been constituted.
