How can we calculate reimbursement if the employee is using a personal 2/4-wheeler for office work? Per kilometer fuel cost for petrol/diesel. Will it be the same for the entire country or will it vary from state to state? Please guide in this regard.

it is conveyance allowance and would be 10% of (basic + DA) subject to max capping of 1600/- per month

Thank you, Glidor. But how can we pay for actual traveling kilometers per hour? Conveyance (1600) will come under the payslip. Apart from this, traveling for office work will be provided by the company. I need to calculate the per kilometer diesel/petrol reimbursement charges. Any ideas for this, please.

Hi Anukote,

For that, you need to have a travel policy in place, and the policy varies from company to company. There is no standard rule for calculating reimbursement. You can provide reimbursement based on petrol or diesel prices divided by 30 kilometers. It will be approximately Rs. 3 per kilometer for two-wheelers and Rs. 10 for four-wheelers. Please feel free to call or revert for any assistance.

Dear Friends,

Can someone answer what is the current tariff for both 2-wheelers and 4-wheelers? Do you have any plans for the reimbursement of electric vehicles (2/4 wheelers) used for business work?

Hi Team,

Keeping in mind this is an old post, I found it very difficult to find any relevant information on the topic of EV reimbursement. Kindly do share your views as it is the need of the hour.

Thanks
