I have a doubt. I have recently transferred my old PF account from a previous employer to my current employer, and the PF amount has been transferred. However, the pension amount still shows in the old PF account. What should I do now? Whom should I approach regarding this? My previous PF account is maintained by the government only, not by any trust. How can I transfer the pension amount?

If your service has completed more than 10 years, your pension amount will remain the same in your last account. Only the pension certificate number will get transferred to your new company. Whenever you apply for monthly pension or retirement, you will receive your pension amount along with your PF amount.

Pension will not transfer in this case; only the length of service will transfer. So, it will show a 0/- amount in the pension part in the new PF account. Don't worry, your pension will be safe. The pension amount will be settled based on the length of service.
