My last company has not released my FNF amount which includes my 1-month salary, reimbursement amount, and 6 PL encashment. It's been more than 2 months, and they have not updated my KYC in the UAN portal, which is why I am unable to withdraw PF. I have been following up with them regularly, but I keep receiving dates with no results. Kindly suggest how to file a case against the employer for not paying FNF and not updating KYC in UAN.

For F&F, all you need to do is send them a few emails demanding your dues. In case that doesn't help, take the documentation to the Labor Office and file a complaint against your old employer.

For UAN, register your grievance at the EPFO site. This will work for sure.

Hi,

I would like to comment on not updating KYC at UAN online portal. What we understand is that it's the individual's responsibility to update their KYC documents, like bank, Aadhaar, etc. It is nowhere connected with HR responsibility. HR can guide you or even initiate support in case one is finding it difficult to update on their own.

Dear Rahul Chhabra,

Regarding KYC updates, it is the employees' responsibility to update documents such as Aadhar, PAN, and bank account proofs on the unified portal. The employer (HR) is then required to verify and approve these documents on the same portal using digital signatures, which can also be done through Aadhar validation. If the employer fails to verify the KYC, the employee will not be able to claim or withdraw PF deposits.
