What are the best ways to hire a telecaller (female)? I face lots of challenges while hiring a telecaller. Most of the telecallers don't want to continue in the same job role, and fresher be like they do not want to enter into this job. It's really tough to convince female candidates to attend the interview. Please suggest some ideas. I hire through Naukri.com.

Dear Sir/Madam,

It is a very true situation. However, if you provide a script to guide them, they will communicate more creatively with customers. Another important point is that no one is interested in listening to what the telemarketer wants to say. This is not due to lack of time but rather lack of interest. Therefore, providing a creative script may help improve the situation.

Using incentives as a tool may not be effective. First of all, try to identify the root cause of why employees are not stable and then implement solutions such as changes in work culture, rotational shifts, incentive structures, weekly job rotations, employee engagement, fostering creativity in work, product analysis, and gathering customer feedback.

If an employee asks a customer questions about a product instead of just trying to sell it, it may help in retaining the employee. For example, if you are selling regular tea bags and want to introduce lemon tea, don't immediately push the new product. Start by asking for a quick 2-minute survey for feedback and then gradually introduce the new product. This approach might be more effective.

Kind regards, [Your Name]

Create a motivation for them. After having successfully worked for one year as Tele-callers, what's next? You should be in a position to consider a different role for them after having successfully completed one year. This is one way to retain them!

Dear All,

My question is not about how to motivate a telecaller and how to motivate them or how to improve their job performance. This situation comes after hiring. I am facing challenges in the recruitment of a female telecaller. Request you to understand my question. My question is about recruitment.

You can tweak your words during the interview. Instead of saying "Tele calling," give them a different name. Also, do not make them feel like they are only expected to make calls. Inform them during the interview that they will have more responsibilities than just tele calling. I am certain you will attract more qualified candidates.

Regards,
Monica
