Hi Seniors,

I have been working with a private limited firm (hospitality industry) in Gurugram for the last two years. My query is related to PF. The organization I work for has been deducting the PF since I joined them, but they have failed to deposit it with the concerned EPFO.

We have met with our HR department and the concerned person many times, requesting them to solve the issue as soon as possible. However, they procrastinate every time, asking for more time. Four months ago, we had a visit from an enforcement officer for compliance under the EPF & MP Act 1952. After the visit, the organization deposited the PF amount for the initial two months. Yet, we are still at the same point, as after the initial deposit, the company has reverted to the same track, and our 22 months' PF amount is still pending, which should have been deposited.

I just want to ask if there is any time limitation for an organization to make the deposit, or can it be done indefinitely? If there is a limitation, what is the time limit? Please tell me the right way to tackle the situation.
