Hi friends. I have completed my graduation in the year 2012 and cleared my backlogs in 2015. Can I change and keep the past year as 2012 and apply for an IT job? Will there be a problem? I have a degree, but the only thing is I want to change the pass-out year. Please suggest. I am in need of a job. Sometimes, I feel like committing suicide because of these financial problems. Please, guys, give me suggestions.

Dear friend,
It appears that you are feeling desperate as you are struggling to secure a job. Your query is whether you can change the year of passing on your certificate from 2015 to 2012. However, the question that arises is who will make this change and how will it be done? Essentially, you are considering altering the certificate yourself. But, is it possible to change the official records at the university that issued you the certificate? What if this alteration is discovered?
Setting aside the challenges associated with tampering, the next question is how will you explain the gap in your employment from 2012 to 2015? What reasons will you provide? What if during a job interview, an interviewer inquires about the gap and you are unable to offer a convincing explanation?
Furthermore, you mention facing financial difficulties, with your family possibly depending on you. Despite this, if you are struggling to find employment and thoughts of suicide are crossing your mind, have you considered the impact on your loved ones? Taking one's own life may seem like a solution, but it can have devastating consequences for those left behind. Will your actions worsen their financial situation or alleviate it? It is crucial to consider this aspect.
The essence of the matter lies in the delay in completing your education. The important lesson here is to understand the value of time and avoid creating unnecessary burdens due to procrastination.
If opportunities in the IT sector seem limited, do not lose hope. Look for job opportunities in other fields. Everyone excels in different areas, whether it is IT or another industry. Identify your strengths and explore which field aligns best with your skills. Many job openings exist in emerging sectors such as retail, e-commerce, etc. Once you secure a job, dedicate yourself fully to your work. By putting your heart and soul into your tasks, you will earn the recognition of your superiors. Their acknowledgment will inspire you to aim for greater challenges.
Remember, life is full of possibilities and setbacks should not define your future. There is potential for greatness in your life, but you must be willing to seize the opportunities available to you.
All the best!

Changing the date on educational qualifications will be a self-defeating move. More questions will arise, such as what you were doing after 2012. Keep applying for various jobs. You will get a job soon. Talk to friends, read all ads, job websites like Naukri, etc. Be positive in your efforts.

Dear friend in distress,
We share your predicament. You are jobless at the moment, and thoughts of suicide are hovering in your mind. But control yourself and do not let these negative feelings get the better of you. Have faith that these days will also pass. There is always tomorrow, perhaps a better one. Have patience and hope. Move forward with wholehearted positive efforts to get any job to start with if not in the IT field.
"Jiski ummide buland hote hai, raste usiko dhoondhte chale aate hai."
Do not think of tampering with your year of passing certificate. It is outright cheating to oneself and the world around. It may provide short-term gain but can hurt you for a lifetime.

Dear Friend,
It is not a matter of worry; many people are there who have started working while studying to help themselves or their families out. Failure is common everywhere and need not get bogged down by it; let the same remain. Simply follow the guidelines given by seniors here (when you have posted a query and a solution given) if you are intending to do so.

Hello Friend,
We suggest putting up honest information in your CV - be it the passing year, experience, or whatever. The reason is not that your prospective employer might find out, but lying affects your confidence. Whenever you are trying to hide something, that would reflect in your interviews.
So put in the true information and be confident. There's no dearth of jobs in India; you just need to look! Start off with whatever you get; believe us, it will teach you something about corporate life. You can always switch when you find better opportunities.
Good luck,
