Dear Sirs,

I am working in a construction company. For example, we have covered one employee in PF, and the PF basic salary is 8100. Now, we want to reduce the basic from 8100 to 6000 because we want to change his CTC. Please guide me in this matter.

Dear Dipak Chudasama ji,

Why do you want to reduce the basic from 8100 to 6000, and why not to 500 or 1000? How can you pay wages below the Minimum Wage Act? Please see Section 12 of the EPF & MP Act, which states that the employer should not reduce wages, etc.
