Hello, I work in a reputed IT MNC. I had signed up an Employment Bond with my organization for 2 years. I still have 1 year left to serve the bond period. However, I got a better opportunity and I'd like to move out. Unlike most other questions found on the internet related to bond and resignation, I don't have any issue paying the bond amount to my employer/organization. But I'd like to resign and grab the better opportunity. Now I'm not sure if my employer can still reject my resignation or in any other way hold my release letter and not allow me to leave. Please remember I have no issues paying the bond amount to my employer. If yes, then in such a case, what can I do legally (or in any other way that works) to leave the current organization with a release letter.

Dear Anamika, without knowing contents of Employment Bond which you have signed voluntarily, we are not in a position to give any advise. Why have you not uploaded the Bond?
