If an employee joined after April 2016 and left within 2-4 months, can we add those employees in PMRPY?
If we are paying contributions for employees in PMRPY, in that case, we suppose not to add them in EPF ECR. (Is there no need to pay EPF contributions on the unified portal?)
For employees who are still working with the organization and joined after April 2016, for whom we have already paid contributions on the unified portal, can we claim for that in PMRPY?

Q1: Eligibility of Employees for PMRPY
If an employee joined after April 2016 and left within 2-4 months, can we add those employees in PMRPY?
A: You may add such employees in PMRPY, but since in the current month you are not depositing their PF, no benefit shall be available to you.
Q2: Contribution Payment and EPF ECR
If we are paying the contribution of employees in PMRPY, in that case, we suppose not to add those in EPF ECR (No need to pay EPF contribution on the unified portal)?
A: The name has to be added in ECR, and then the portal, while calculating the total amount payable, shall give the benefit of PMRPY, and you shall be required to deposit only the amount net of PMRPY benefit.
Q3: Claiming Contributions for Current Employees
If an employee is still working with the organization and joined after April 2016, for those we have already paid the contribution on the unified portal, can we claim for that in PMRPY?
A: To our knowledge, the contribution which has already been paid is presently not being reimbursed by PMRPY, and the benefit is being allowed.

Dear cavkd,
We are working as a labor contractor in the FMCG industry for loading and unloading contracts in the said establishment. In order to register on the PMRPY portal, we are required to select a NIC Code. However, we are confused about which NIC Code to select. Does it pertain to the principal employer's business nature or to the loading and unloading contract? Which NIC Code is applicable in this case?
Kindly clarify as soon as possible.
Thank you.
