Dear sir,
I do have 4 casual leaves and 17 paid leaves and I want to resign from my current company but to ensure my training at the next job I need some days leave like say casual leaves. So can I take casual leave after applying for notice period cause my company will not pay me for casual leaves.

Availing leave, in general is subject to exigencies of service, particularly during notice period if leave is allowed it would hinder the the taking over your duties and responsibilities by your successor. As such you can seek adjustment of 17 days paid leave against notice period. If you are still hard pressed for time, you may seek early relieving and pay off for the remaining notice period. CL can be allowed but it is subject to the approval by the controlling official but it cannot be claimed as a matter of right.
