I would request you to read the new section " 11-A" inserted by the Amending Act of 2017 to the Maternity Benefit Act,1961. This new section requires establishments having 50 or more employees should have creches within such distance as may be prescribed. Therefore, creches can be outside the premises of the establishments. For further details, await and see the Rules to be framed in this regard.
