I am facing the same problem of "Awaiting Payment" status since the last two days after I tried to pay through ICICI BANK net banking. Due to some reason when I was redirected to the bank website from the ECR page for payment, the net banking login did not happen, and hence I had to close the window. When I went back to the unified portal for retrying, I could see the status as "awaiting payment," and it just won't refresh. We have availed PMRPY refund, but when I tried to generate a new Challan, the PMRPY refund amount is not reflecting. I have contacted the PF department, but no use. Moreover, there is no helpline to escalate this issue as well, so I tried to contact PMRPY via email, but no use. Why do these government agencies deploy applications without testing them properly? EPFO Awaiting Payment Confirmation - Error Not Able To Make Payment - It is solved within 2 days. Thanks to EPFO Dept.
How to solve this problem? I will explain step by step. Kindly follow the below steps:
1. Take a screenshot of Awaiting Payment Status. Send an email to your EPFO branch and visit the EPFO Department immediately with a hard copy. Meet the EPFO Commissioner/EDP Section and submit the copy. Obtain an acknowledgment of the same.
2. After two days, check through your Employer Login ID. If it is done, make the payment. If not, revisit the department and follow up again. It will be done.
