Dear Senior,

As of now, there is no need for an e-pehchan card for ESIC services. Is it true? I heard that linking the Aadhaar Card number with ESI allows us to use a normal printout. I have entered my employees' Aadhaar card numbers in their applications, but it still does not show validation.

What is the time period for Aadhaar card verification in ESI? Is it done periodically? Please provide full details.

Thank you.

E-Pahchan card and Aadhaar linking, as both are biometric-based. So, if the name, gender, and DOB match, it gets verified automatically. However, in some cases, the employee may have multiple E-Pahchan due to ignorance. If they visit the ESIC office for validation of E-Pahchan after attestation by the employer, the ESIC local office will do the needful and verify it after their biometric verification with the Aadhaar portal and data.
