Dear Seniors,
I have gone through the Cite HR website on the above topic, but couldn't find relevant answers to my query. Therefore, I am posting the same here to seek guidance from seniors.
We are the number one organization in our field with PAN India operations (I prefer not to disclose my company name or field). I work as the Manager of Facilities. We have applied to the Labour Office for obtaining a certificate under the Kerala Shops and Commercial Establishment Act.
In a specific division, we have around 30 employees in different departments, whose salaries are significantly higher than the minimum wages. The salary is processed from our Head Office and directly transferred via NEFT to the employees' accounts. The Labour Officer is insisting that we provide the account numbers/IFSC codes of all employees/employers to link them to the Labour Department website, in accordance with the latest amendment in Kerala for the Online Wage Protection System.
While I am consulting with my company authorities at the Head Office, I seek advice from seniors on whether it is necessary to provide these details, considering the confidentiality aspect from the employees' perspective.
Your feedback and comments on the above topic are highly appreciated.
