Hello everyone,
I was facing the same issue as my bank account was inactive, and the claim was returned. The EPFO officer informed me to submit the ASR form. I have submitted it through my employer, and it's been 2 months. According to my employer, it usually takes a minimum of 6+ months.
Could you please let me know how long it normally takes to get recredited? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Once a claim is returned, it gets stuck between the admin and accounts sections formalities. Here, the employer or his representative has the least role to follow up. As the fault is concerned with either the member or his banker, the employee has to make his bank account active, get some transactions printed on the current date on his passbook, obtain a certificate from the banker that the account is KYC compliant and is running on the date, and then visit the EPFO office. Reissue proforma is enclosed herewith for submission.
