Hi Neha Mandal,

Thank you for your guidance. I attempted to process the return as per your instructions, but unfortunately, I was not successful. I seem to be having trouble locating the specific format required for this return. When I used the search function, the result returned was "NOT KNOWN." I have attached a screenshot for your reference. Could you please provide further assistance or send the required format to my email address, anand.esicpf@gmail.com?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Best regards,

I do agree as it's not Spam.

Now we need to file all the labor related to returns using Shram Suvidha portal only. You need to update the data in the portal. You can link your ESI as well as EPF returns too in the same portal.

Hello Anand,

Find attached the amended payment of wages. This document contains all the details of the annual return along with Form D. I downloaded it from the same website, Simpliance - Labour Law Compliance (http://www.simpliance.in). If you have any doubts about filling out the form, you can ask on the website. They are labor law experts and will clear all your doubts on the spot. I found more information on this website.

Neha Mandal has provided the attachment of Labour Law Annual Return. I would like some clarification about it.

Firstly, in column F, wage rates are required category-wise. I seek clarification on whether wage rates typically increase every six months under the Minimum Wage Act of 1936. Which rates should be provided?

Secondly, in small factories, Leave With Wages is usually paid in cash after the end of the financial year to all employees, regardless of whether they have completed 240 days in the financial year or not.

Thirdly, previously, the annual return was submitted for the calendar year. Is this return now to be submitted for the calendar year or the financial year?

Respected Neha Mandal,

I had sought some clarifications on March 5, 2017. Neither you nor anybody else clarified. Would you please clarify the points? Please note that all records in the accounting system have been kept in the financial year.

A press note released today states that EPF has announced to provide loans to its members whose service tenure is three years and balance is Rs 20,000. A notification regarding this matter has been issued as per the press note. Clarification is requested on whether the Rs 20,000 is solely the employee's contribution or includes the employer's share.
