Dear all, please share what the rule is for PF deduction of an employee depending on the number of days he worked in a month. Is the PF deduction fixed irrespective of the working days in the month, or is it variable? Also, share what the criteria are for HRA deduction in metro cities.

Thank you.

Dear Rajeev How can the PF deduction be fixed, if the employee has only worked 1 days then he/she must not be earning even the PF Contribution. Hence it is always calculated on the earned days
