Dear Nabeel,
Job interviews are conducted based on the Job Description (JD). Therefore, competencies apart, have you prepared the JDs for the designations that you have mentioned? Based on the JD, you may identify the competencies also.
If you are not even able to identify the competencies for the positions then how will you ask the questions on those competencies and will you be able grade the reply of the job candidate? The competencies are measured on the following scale:
a) Fundamental awareness
b) Novice
c) Intermediate
d) Advanced
e) Expert
Have you developed competency of interviewing? If not, then you could misjudge the candidate's reply and it could lead to injustice to the candidate. A wrong selection of the candidate could result in injustice to the organisation.
Therefore, I recommend you being cautious while selecting the job candidates. I recommend you taking training on the interview handling skills. Feel free to approach me for such training.
Supply Chain Officer: - If you are working in Hospital then where is the question of employing Supply Chain Officer? Is your hospital that big that merits management of "supply chain"? If your management clear on the concept of supply chain? What kind of upstream supply chain do you have? Since I handle training programmes on supply chain, I am little doubtful of requirement of this designation for service organisation like hospital.
Thanks,
