Is there any Act of Government of Inda which states the entitlement of employees for paid leaves when they get injured / disabled at work ?
The disability can be temporary or permanent partial or permanent total.

As per Workmen (Employees) Compensation Act, the employee who met with an employment injury (accident during the course of employment) will be eligible to get leave with pay and reimbursement of medical expenses. If the accident has resulted in permanent disablement, then a compensation is also be to paid to such employee.
In respect of an employee who is covered by ESI Act, the above referred reimbursement of medical expenses, compensation and leave will be taken care of by the ESI Corporation.
