Hi1I need to understand the procedure for availing compensatory off, what about accounts people who work long hours during audits?whats the ground of entitlement of compensatory leave.

If an employee is deprived of any of the weekly holidays , he shall be allowed to take compensatary holidays of equal number of holidays so lost within a month in which the holidays were due to him or within in 2 months immediately following that month.
If an employee stay 3 - 4 hour more than his daily working hours i.e more than 9 hours in any day or for more than 48 hours in any week , he shall be entitled to overtime at the rate twice of his ordinary rate of wages for such overtime work.
