Hi, I was working with a barista in 2006. I left the company without any resignation period after 18 months. Now my problem is that the HR (Pooja) is not supporting the withdrawal of my PF. How can I withdraw my PF without company attestation and stamp? Kindly help me.

There is a procedure for PF withdrawal where employer signature is not necessary. This is a recent step taken by Hon'ble GOI. First, go through this link for more information: [EPF withdrawal made simple - No sign required from Employer](http://www.jagoinvestor.com/2015/12/epf-withdrawal-process-forms.html). This is a well-written article with clear steps to obtain your PF money.

Please approach the nearest PF office, who will help you. If you know the PF number, that is enough. You can get the information in the PF office. I suggest you not to withdraw the PF amount as I think you have worked in the company for a considerable number of years. It is better to transfer the PF amount to your newly joining company, which will help you accumulate your PF. In addition, if you complete 10 years of service, you are eligible for a pension. If you withdraw PF now, you have to start contributing to PF afresh, losing considerable service which will not be counted for the pension. Hence, I suggest you continue your PF by giving your PF number to your new company and enjoy benefits like pension, insurance, and pension for the family after death.

Yes, D Subbarao, you are right. As per the new announcement, for PF withdrawal, attestation of the employer is no longer required. However, your KYC must be updated with the previous employer; else, you need to submit 3-4 documents in support of your identity and genuineness.
