Hi, I am Marita Ephraim and I am doing research on employee engagement. I would like to hear all your views. According to my research, I found out that in many companies, employee engagement strategy is not a part of the business plan because there is no output or productivity. Due to this, they do not spend time making a clear employee engagement strategy. However, many companies these days do understand the importance of employee engagement but still do not put in the extra effort to get feedback and improve the system or meet the needs of employees in a better way.

What can be done to help the organization understand the correlation between employee engagement and accountability, responsibility, and curbing turnover?

Well said. These days, many organizations are not focusing on their employees' satisfaction. Most of the employees in an organization will be more productive when the organization prioritizes their engagement. This helps the organization understand the needs of the employees and fosters a better work environment. Consequently, this can reduce employee turnover and lead to better progress in achieving organizational goals. It is also necessary to invest in engaging an employee who is already trained and productive. Retaining engaged employees, apart from their usual business activities, is valuable.

Well, it's not true that there is no productivity or output; a simple recognition of a person's work can boost his/her morale. But it's true that lots of companies do not spend effort on boosting Employment Engagement Strategy.

The only way I think this is possible is if the organization and its management take seriously the employees' need to feel that their organization is genuinely interested in them.

Hi,

Most of the organizations are now paying attention to employee engagement. The employees that organizations want and who will stay with organizations are those who are engaged.

Nowadays, younger generations are no longer willing to stay in the same organization for a long time. Employee engagement plays a very important role as highly engaged employees are motivated and also enjoy their work, leading to high employee loyalty.

Creating a good organizational culture is crucial so that an employee can feel like they are an important part of the organization and accountable for their actions. Creating an engaged organization requires a systematic approach, and it is also important to show that the organization cares about its employees.

Employee engagement drives growth, as employees not only want a clear understanding of what the employer expects from them, but they also want to know the company's vision and direction. This helps employees understand how they can contribute to achieving individual and organizational goals, increasing their accountability.

Please let me know if you need any further assistance.
