As per our leave policy, employees will be entitled to only one sick leave and one casual leave per month after completion of the probation period. I want to know if privilege leaves are necessary in the construction industry. Please provide me with inputs on the same.

It appears to me otherwise that your Leave Policy does not permit any leave to the probationers. The leave policy of any establishment, factory, or industry cannot run counter to the leave provisions of the labor law applicable to it. In the matter of service conditions like leave and holidays, no labor law discriminates against employees based on their employment status, such as permanent, probationer, temporary, and the like.
