Hi Seniors,
I have just joined an IT firm in Delhi, and what I feel is that most of the people are not coming to the office on a regular basis. Either they are working from home or on leave, and when they do come to the office, they are not arriving on time. Could you guide me on how I could motivate my employees to come in regularly and adhere to the general rules of the organization, or how to engage my employees in doing so?
I am still new to this organization and cannot pressurize my employees. Additionally, I am unsure about how I should behave towards my employees.

Hi Nishant,
In some of the organizations where the work-from-home option is available, people do use it. There is nothing wrong with that. You need to see whether it is impacting the work in a negative way. Secondly, are people exceeding their leave quota? What is your office policy on leave sanctioning? Since you are new to the organization, you need to discuss these issues with your seniors rather than thinking of doing something on your own.

You can introduce the attendance incentive scheme but before introducing any scheme you should sense the pulse of employees why they are behaving so. Dinshan

In IT firms, work from home or flexible work hours is common. I think that it's your company's policy. You don't need to change the way your employees come to the office unless it impacts negatively on their performance or productivity. If you are wondering, come to ask and discuss with your seniors.

Hi All my Seniors,
I have completed a total of 11 months in the poultry industry, and while working as an HR there, I found that our company is giving bonuses of 500/1000/1250/or 7000/ to employees. I am confused about the criteria they use to pay bonuses. Kindly guide me and email me to clarify if there are any government rules to understand the concept of bonuses.
