Dear All,
Please help me to solve my query.
I was working with one of the private institution in Bhopal. I joined there on 18th Nov, 2013 as asst professor Marketing, after completion of one year I supposed to get increment as I filled appraisal form but I did not get increment so I discuss with my director about this issue and I have received Rs. 5000/ in month of March & May as interim increment to compensate that non incremented period and I was assured that you will get your regular increment in the month of July salary but I did not received.
Than I decided to resign with one month notice and completed all documentation on time with no dues and I assured that the remaining salary will get by check as full and final settlement now They want me to deposit 10000/ Rs in cash then only they will give me check.
Please comment whether this act from the college is law full or not?

What for are they asking Rs10000 cash? Will they give receipt? Prima facie the demand appears unjustified and incorrect.
