Seek some time to show improvement. Analyse why target achievement had shortfalls? In mean time look around.

If the company does not want you, there is little you can do.
It's better you find another job.
The company gave you a 50% rating.
It should have lighted a fire under your bottom to perform and meet the targets. From you post it seem that the performance has not changed. Naturally the company will not be willing to pay salaries of someone who can't deliver.
You can ofcourse request the management for another chance. If they don't agree, then you have no option but to leave, or face a termination.

Hi Mr. Samaysingh,
Sticking to the words in your post "Asked By My Company To Resign Verbally", I would say that No good Company will say things on performance in verbal.Company was kind enough to give you 3 months time on verbal notes to improve upon.So you are now your own judge to understand your own performance level.
Nevertheless, its is always better to improve and seek more and more opportunities to learn and grow.
Wish you all the best.

Hello Madanagopalaswamy,
With due apologies, suggest give suggestions that are realistic & practical.
While what you mention MAY BE technically right, do you think Samaysingh is in any position to implement what you suggested?
Here he is fighting for his survival & here you are suggesting he QUOTE RULES to the Company when he is in no position to even ask for extension to show performance......even if the Company gives his some more time to prove himself, it will be as a GESTURE & NOT as his right or any Rule.
@ Samaysingh--
As other members suggested, pl ask for more time....but before that, also figure-out WHY you haven't been able to perform. Only then can you try to correct yourself & show improvement. Else you won't be able to prove yourself even if given an year.
And, in parallel, look for new jobs.
All the Best.

Don’t resign. Make them fire you. Keep emails and all documents. Clients, any appreciations and the last hr mails if any. Go to labor court.

Dear Samaysingh,
Believe in you and the Company. Company has hired you with an expectetion of reasonable performance. As per the appraisal, there are some shortfalls projected by the managements.
If your Job Profile is given or KPI was defined, you must go and discuss with your HOD to understand the shortfalls. Get a clarity on the expectation. If you feel, the target is not achievable, identify the knowledge or training required to perform better way. Your intent to continue is the intent of your HOD and he will definitely accommodate you to perfor better. In turn that is his performance too. Your hardwork and right approch will give you an edge. Good Luck.
