Hi Citehr Team,

My name is Prateek Sadana i was being part of reputed company. I got better opportunity because of that I have leave that organization on urgent bases. I marked Resignation mail to HR according to the policy my notice period is two months and according to HR I have to pay 2 month of salary (Gross earning) which includes “BASIC,HRA,CONV,MED ALL.
Appointment letter its mention that, “Whereas the company reserve the right to request the service of notice or pay salary in lieu of, your notice period. Waiver or payment in lieu will be at the sole discretion of the company.”
I read few of your articles according to that article I have to pay Daily Allowance and Basic salary but in my salary description page Daily Allowance isn’t mentioned.
So I have to pay my basic salary or Gross according to policy?
If I need to pay my basic please share me GOV written article so that I can show it to my company’s HR as proof….
Please help me out…..
