Understanding PF Withdrawal Process: Form 15G Submission Requirement Explained - CiteHR

I have shifted to a new company where PF is not deducted as it is a start-up. I am trying to withdraw my PF and have submitted the form to my previous employer. Now they are asking me to submit Form 15G along with a PAN Card copy.

I checked on the internet and your site, and I found that a person with more than 5 years of continuous service does not require it. I have 9.5 years of continuous service. Please suggest if I need to submit Form 15G and a PAN Card copy, or if I can submit the form myself, or let me know of any other actions.

Thanks in advance,

Regards,

To my knowledge if you are working you cannot withdraw entire amount from PF. Partial withdrawals can be done from accumulations.
