Dear Seniors,

I would be obliged if I could receive the relevant links/information regarding the maximum allowed shop floor temperature after the use of any temperature control unit, such as air coolers or A/Cs. Our plant is located in Uttarakhand.

Sincere regards,
Neeraj

In TN factory rules, the maximum temperature in restrooms and the working area should not exceed 30 degrees Celsius at a height above 5 feet. There should be at least air movement of 30 meters per minute. The same details should be recorded thrice in form 6.

Most likely, similar regulations exist in your state as well. Please refer to rule 17A of your state rules under Ventilation and Temperature.

Thank you, Mr. Stephen,

The UP Factory Rules do not specify the accurate temperature conditions. May I seek help from some other seniors in different states to discover the overall general rules followed by you in your respective factories?
