Dear Friends,
We are a multinational company planning to launch our branch in India soon. Could anyone suggest an organizational structure in India for a startup company, as we are not familiar with the designations and their importance among professionals and customers?
What should the branch head be called? "Country Manager" seems unusual to our colleagues. The positions of President & CEO, MD, are designated by the parent company.
I would appreciate it if anyone could recommend a suitable designation for the person leading our operations in India and other professionals.

Dear,
You have not mentioned the sector of your company with which it deals. Anyways, you can first identify the grading, and based on the grading, you can assign the designations.

Dear Friends,
Thank you very much for both of your reply email letters. Our company President and MD will be abroad. Only the in-charge manager for India will manage the entire operation for distributing their products. Slowly, they will expand their presence (manufacturing base with R&D) after 5 to 10 years. The sector belongs to Chemicals and Drug intermediates. Since the designation system in India is amazing for them, as it is reversed compared to their country.
I believe this information is sufficient for you to suggest a suitable designation for the in-charge who will be coming to India to oversee their business.
