Optimizing Recruitment Strategies: Understanding Ratios and Effective Plans - CiteHR

Understanding an Effective Recruitment Plan

I come from a recruitment background, and I would like to understand what constitutes an effective recruitment plan. If a company aims to onboard ten employees within a specific time frame, how many candidates should a recruiter have lined up? Additionally, what are the expected turnout and selection criteria for this process? Is there a specific ratio that should be followed in designing a recruitment plan?

Thank you,

Let the ratio be 5:1. However, a clear picture of the exact need and the employee/subordinate/senior official is a must. The mode of selection should always consider the ratio when calling the candidates. Otherwise, everything will remain mock.
