Does the number of years of service taken into account when taking a PF Advance for medical treatment? I was informed at the Bangalore PF office that at least 7 years of service are required. I checked several websites, and none of them mention this requirement.

Does anyone know if it is true that we need 7 years of service for a PF Advance for medical treatment? Has this requirement been recently added?

Under the provisions, you are eligible for three months' pay or 50% of the accumulation in the fund, whichever is less, and there is no mention of years of service (under Rules 13, Subrules Advance). You can submit your claim for an advance.

Best of luck...

Sir,

For claiming PF advance on Form No. 31 for the treatment of a family member, I have obtained a signature with a stamp from a cardiologist for the heart ailment clause. What documents need to be enclosed? What is the minimum hospitalization required? Should the dates provided be for future hospitalization dates or completed hospitalization dates?

Please advise on the necessary documents and the specific hospitalization requirements for this process.

Thank you.
