Many universities offer a Ph.D. in Management and Human Resources Management. One such prominent institute is TISS. You need to wait for one more year as the admission process starts during March.
Please note, the admission to a Ph.D. should happen strictly as per the UGC regulation for MPhil/PhD 2009. Many private and deemed universities lure students with an easy Ph.D. degree, but they do not have either recognition or they sell it just for money.

As far as he / she has valid PhD degree from a recognized university, I do not think it is misleading. The person may specify more clearly in bracket the subject of PhD

It is offered through Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning (SCDL), which uses the brand Symbiosis International University, but Symbiosis does not award any program.
Are you thinking that you got a Symbiosis University degree from SCDL? Think again - you are being deceived.

This is a private university, and although it has added the word "Open" as per the reply received from UGC, a private university naming itself as an open university cannot offer courses outside its campus or open centers. Venkateshwara Open University does not have UGC DEB approval.

The majority of HR people who have done a PG Diploma from SCDL must have experienced how SCDL diploma is not helpful at all in their careers, and it is not awarded through Symbiosis International University.
I do not need to be biased towards them; I am representing the facts. Yes, they can counter-reply to my claim, and I am open to debate. Also, on my blog, I have written feedback from people on MouthShut.com, which is self-explanatory.
Another simple example: If you can apply directly to the university and do the course for 50,000, do you want to give an additional 25,000 to Edukart just because you are taking admission through them?
And again, such an arrangement is against the UGC Act and guidelines.

When I tried to delve deeper (as to how state universities like KSOU can offer a degree to a person like me who resides in Delhi), they just asked for my phone number and other contact details so that they can convince me to take admission through their website.
Sir, I would urge you to go through this website and expose them through your informative blog so that students and people can stay away from such websites.
