Dear Sir,

In my current company, I am receiving a salary of 25,300. They have not provided any increment for the past two years. Additionally, they are deducting Rs. 3000 for a work mistake which, in reality, I did not commit. This situation of salary deduction without an increase for the last two years is concerning. I am seeking a solution to address this issue.

Thanks/regards,

Dear Kalpana,

In your appointment letter, what terms and conditions are mentioned? Is there a specific term for increment defined?

Regarding deductions on account of mistakes, could you please provide further clarification or examples?

There is no law for increment every year. For deductions part, we can’t comment without knowing the case. Pon

As Pon has rightly said, there is no law for increments as such; it depends purely on the management. With regards to deductions in salary for work mistakes, you have mentioned that actually it is not your mistake. Then whose mistake is it? Please elaborate to get an appropriate reply. Also, please speak to your HR/Management for penalizing you for others' mistakes.
